Central on beautiful Vancouver Island, just south of Nanaimo, a lovely 40 acre property nestles near the famous Nanaimo River. Out in the country, away from the noise, yet only 20 minutes to groceries or ferries, step back in time to the campground of your youth. Remember camping with friends and family, time in the sun playing ball or peacefully reading a book in the shade of a big old tree. Have you played horseshoes lately, or maybe spent an hour quietly contemplating the pond.

We cater to families here, and the sounds of children laughing ring through the park mingle with the mouth watering smells of food cooked over an open fire. Our newly serviced sites near the new playground are sure to be a hit, parents will be able to relax at their sites and watch the kids at the playground.

The older kids love to join a game of beach volleyball out near the pond or mountain bike around the property.

There's catch and release fishing in our private pond, cut throat as long as 17 inches have been fished here. Why not try your luck?

Or hike through fern gully down to the Crystal Bowl Swimming Hole. It's always lovely and cool in the forest. You'll find spectacular views, some of the best river swimming on the island, exciting cliff diving, and a place to spend a lazy afternoon basking in the sun.
